Here's to the lethargy the sorrow and gloom, the wasted hours burning out my eyes. Raise a glass to the wave of privilege that I ride and all the ways that I love to hide.

But all that can change. Freedom doesn't come to those who cower and wait, you know living with integrity takes courage in your bones.

So here's to all the showers that I refuse to take and the baths I'll have instead down in a dirty lake. To the places that I'll see and the comics that I'll draw. Here's to every shitty note I'll sing in every shitty song. Raise a glass to the stars, to the wind and to the grass, to painted nails and stolen food and nothing that will last.

But real liberty don't look like that. Not while others rot and die. Not while people are in cages metaphorical or the concrete kind.

So here's to the kerosene, to the bottles and the bricks. To the walls we'll smash the ceilings we'll break to every shattered mind. Here's to insurrection, feminist riots, jubilee, a new beginning of time. Raise a glass to the apocalypse that we bring ourselves. To all the lives we can save by ending ours right now.

Tear it down for the trauma, the ruin, and the strife, for all us folks desperate for life.

So here's to feeding everybody just because we can. To homes we build together and picking up our trash. Here's to caring for everyone no matter what the cost, to loving our jobs because there's no more boss. Raise a glass to a future where everyone is free. Bring me that horizon, a sunrise for all to see.
